TTK's monthly Stitch in Time sociable sewing sessions will be back at the Circulatory on Thursday 1st July, 7.00 - 8.30ish, as Covid-19 restrictions seem unlikely to be tightened, even if they remain with us beyond 21st June: as the rule of 6 indoors remains in force for now, please contact Marilyn to book your place, so that we can keep track of numbers (but watch this space and our Facebook page for any necessary changes). If no one registers, we will not run the session, so please don't turn up without registering!
Please bring your own sewing repair/upcycling/alteration project - we don't do the work for you, but will show you how to mend or alter or renovate. We have lots of fabrics, threads, buttons, bits and pieces and sewing equipment but if you need a particular item, e g, a zip, please bring that too. Morsbags are something we can make if no repairs are needed. TTK has made these bags before, in fact it's how Stitch in Time started, and the pattern works well. There is some fabric at The Circulatory but if you have some you'd like to turn into a bag, bring it along...
There is room upstairs at the Circulatory for social spacing, but it is not always possible to keep one’s distance while helping each other with sewing tasks, so please bring and wear masks and use hand sanitizer on arrival.
We would welcome a few helpers who could help other people with their sewing projects and/or who understand sewing machines. Our experience is that everyone who comes along learns something as we all know different things!
