Our e-newsletter goes out at the very end of every month, featuring events coming up, environmental news, campaigns, links to interesting local groups... so if your green group has plans or news to share please send them to us before our deadline, usually a week or so before the end of the month. Items before the deadline are always welcome, of course, but anything sent after that may not get into the next issue and almost certainly will miss out on proof-reading and web-link checks. If you'd like to get monthly requests and reminders you can sign up here, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the request email.
Please check that any information about your group in the latest newsletter - web-links, contacts, regular events or standing items... - is up-to-date and accurate.
Please keep items short, with links to more detail on your website or events page - if you don't want your items to be radically cut by someone else, edit them yourself to make them as concise as possible!
Items welcome for any of the sections below:
- Events (with dates, places and direct links to event or group websites) as the top item in the newsletter. Event organisers, please use last month's issue to see what other groups are doing, especially their regular events, and avoid clashes if you can - it's always a pity if events happen at the same time as each other. If you have events planned for the very beginning of the month after, it would be a good move to get them into this upcoming issue to give interested people more than just a few days' notice.
- Campaigns - demonstrations, petitions, letters... for our readers to get behind
- Other news or updates that would fit into one of our general sections - it would be helpful if you could indicate which section(s) they'd best fit into, out of:
Kingston Council news
Money, money, money
Outdoor Volunteering - conservation and gardening opps
Climate crisis updates
Nature Notes & Events
Waste matters
Pollution Watch
Sustainable energy and transport
Food, glorious food
Reviews & Updates on all things environmental

What else is happening soon?
- Local group listings with direct links to their own websites (so please ensure that the list at the end of the last newsletter was accurate, and update us if not)
