TTK will be showing the inspiring film “Demain” (“Tomorrow”) – the perfect antidote to the current sense of global despondency – in central Kingston on the afternoon of Saturday 8th April. Everyone welcome, including TTK projects and friends, who may like to come along to promote their activities to an energised audience after the film.
Please join us at KingsGate Church in Kingston between 2.30pm and 5.00pm. REGISTER FOR FREE at http://bit.ly/demainfree – though donations will be welcome on the day to support TTK’s expenses (license to show the film + venue).
“Tomorrow” has proven to be a hugely positive and affirming film, exploring creative solutions in the fields of food, energy, transport, economics and education. It visits permaculture farms, urban agriculture projects, community-owned renewable projects, local currencies, creative schools, ambitious recycling projects. Seen by more than 1.5m people already and currently showing in 29 countries, screenings in the UK are supported by the Transition Network.
The film is providing a huge boost to community-led projects across the country, and we will be showcasing some of the projects and activities running across Kingston – please come and meet them and join in.
